Why Hydrogen?
It all started in 1996 in my kitchen sink. I drilled a hole in the bottom of a 2L Pepsi bottle, and inserted a cork. I filled the bottle with water and turned it upside down in a bowl of water. I slipped 2 pieces of wire into the neck of the Pepsi bottle, and applied DC electric current. I filled the bottle with whatever gasses bubbled from the stripped wire ends. It took what seemed like forever, and filled the bowl with a bunch of nasty-looking gunk. Upon releasing the cork, and lighting it, the flame reached the ceiling with a "CRACK" that sounded like a gun shot! It scared my wife, myself and the few guests we had invited over for desert. Though we were thoroughly rattled, I was instantly HOOKED!
Little did I know in that early experiment how dangerous the scenario I just explained to you actually was. I could just have easily blown the Pepsi bottle to shreds and injured myself, or any of those around me. Fortunately, God was watching over my family and guests. I began expanding on my knowledge of this explosive gas, that has now become known to me and other enthusiasts as HHO. It is a mixture of Hydrogen and Oxygen, derived by splitting water into it's basic elements with electricity. I learned early on that safety was important. I have spent many hours studying the safety aspects of this powerful, mixed gas.
While spending time pursuing a career, and with a growing family, my interest has never waned. With the help of enthusiasts, we have formed this website in an effort to help those interested in experimenting with this dangerous gas. We make the mistakes you should never have to make.
