Why Hydrogen?
What do you mean by "Testing"?
Well, simply put, we offer a testing and certification program for experimenters of HHO. If you have developed a product or device, and don't feel comfortable testing it to the limit, leave that to us. Believe me, we have extensive experience in blowing HHO stuff up. Not to say that we will blow your product up, but we will provide testing in a safe and informative way. Each product we test will receive a thorough stress test that, in the end, will determine what level of safety it will provide the end user.
What do you mean by "Certification"?
We base our Certification on our SRS, or Safety Rating System. There are two categories in our SRS. On-Demand Systems and Pressure Systems. Sometimes a safety device performs within specifications in a system that produces no more than 1-PSI back-pressure on the device. That same device may fail if subjected to the same scenario, but with increased pressure. It is this confusion surrounding safety devices that we wish to eliminate. For example: If a device succeeds only while the pressure is under 1-PSI, it will get a SRS Rating of OD. Let's say it can take up to 10-LPM HHO output until it fails under 11-LPM. This device will be Certified under the HHOG Labs SRS as an OD10 Rating, and will be listed on the HHOG Labs Certification Page as such. Another example: If a device succeeds while subjected to 5-PSI and 10-LPM, but fails under 6-PSI, or 11-LPM, it will be receive a SRS Certification of 5UP10 and listed on the HHOG Labs Certification Page as such.
Each individual or company that receives a HHOG Labs Certification for their device will receive an official HHOG Labs Certificate stating that the device was tested under HHOG Labs testing program and performed within specifications up to the SRS rating that it receives.
Anyone that uses a device that has received a HHOG Labs SRS Rating can be comfortable, knowing that the device will perform within the parameter of the test, and safely up to the rating it receives.
What will this cost me?
Unfortunately, we must always associate a dollar amount with any service we offer to cover testing and administrative costs.
Here is a list of what you can expect a complete
test to cost you:
1) Shipping to our facility: (varies, paid by you)
2) Testing, Administration and Certificate Delivery: $50
3) Return Shipping of device: (optional, $25)
You agree by submitting to the testing procedure and SRS Certification
that HHOG Labs has permission to post the results of your device
on a web page that shows other peer devices and their SRS Ratings
plainly and without prejudice.
